Owen Coyle - wants Baldé according to the player
Baldé himself is quoted as saying he has an offer to go to Birmingham on trial with a two year deal to follow should he do well during that trial period. But they Baldé adds: "Burnley have also made me an offer, but unconditionally. I will have to have a think about things before I decide my future."

The central defender has been in conflict with his club having been told he was surplus to requirements. He was forced to train with the junior teams when he refused to walk away from his £28,000 a week contract.

That was last summer but he's hardly played in the last three years and not at all during last season. Indeed his last appearance for Celtic was at Motherwell in May 2008, one of only four appearances that season.

His contract ends at Celtic at the end of this month when, on top of his wages, he will receive a £1 million loyalty bonus having been with the club since 2001 when he was signed by Martin O'Neill.
