Austin won both the man of the match and the player ratings against Barnsley. He polled 29.7% of the vote for the man of the match, just ahead of Michael Duff who had a 26.4% share. The next two places were taken by Ben Mee (12.8%) and Brian Stock (9.5%).
In the player ratings, Austin, with a rating of 7.50 out of 10, was the only player to hit the seven out of ten for a good performance.
Duff and right back Kieran Trippier were next with ratings of 6.67 and Mee came fourth, his rating was 6.50 out of 10.
To last Sunday and the winner of the man of the match was Duff with 27.4%.
Trippier was second with 18.6% and was followed by Ross Wallace and Brian Stock who claimed 16.9% and 16.1% respectively to take third and fourth places.
Duff's central defensive partner Jason Shackell who the player ratings. He had a rating of 7.17 out of 10, ahead of Duff on 7.07, Trippier with 7.06 and in fourth place was Stock with a rating of 6.98 out of 10.
The result of these two games gives Duff a total of 14 points towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Year. Austin, still well clear at the head of the table and stretching that lead claimed 10 points.
Other point scorers were Trippier with eight, Shackell with five, three each for Mee and Stock and two points for Wallace.
