Now 22, Aryn, who is the younger brother of former loan player Rhys Williams and twin brother of Ryan plays for Barnsley, was a surprise departure from Turf Moor at the end of the 2012/13 season after just a year with the development squad.
In the previous season he'd been a member of the successful youth team that reached the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup and a two legged tie against Blackburn.
He's been playing for Western Australian side Floreat Athena but has had a recent trial with Perth Glory and has been rewarded with a short term contract.
He made his debut for them as a substitute last Sunday against Western Sydney Wanderers at Parramatta in Sydney, The game ended in a 1-0 defeat for Glory.
