Arthur stays at Loftus Road

Just a few weeks ago Arthur was blasted by reserve team coach Ronnie Jepson after a poor showing in the first half at Barnsley in the Pontin’s Holiday League. There were rumours of disagreements getting out of hand in the dressing room during the half time interval but no matter what happened or didn’t Arthur was banished to London within two days.

He was signed by Ian Holloway as cover for former Blackpool player Clarke Carlisle who was receiving treatment for alcohol problem and according to the Rangers boss has been in excellent form.

He will be on immediate call back once his first month is completed, and that will be after this weekend’s games, but many were expecting him to come back with Andy Todd set to return to Blackburn, David May facing a two match ban and Mark McGregor still out injured with his tweaked knee.

That’s not been the case though and even with those problems Stan has decided he can manage without Arthur who quite honestly does now look to be on his way out of Turf Moor. There seems little indication that there would be any sort of offer for him here once his contract ends in the summer.
