Arthur in trouble after latest goal antics

Arthur clashes with Claridge on the field
He celebrated his first of the season by running the full length of the pitch with no shirt on and then proceeded to wind up the Stoke fans.

He then followed that up by dancing with Dimitri before carrying him back to the half way line when the Clarets scored their winner.

Some referees would have taken a dim view of his first celebration given that he was performing in front of the away fans and Kevin James of Gillingham was sent off for far less after scoring for his club at Brighton on the same day.

Arthur though went too far last night when the Clarets scored to make it 2-2 and apparently went over to the Millwall dug out gesticulating, his intended target was apparently Steve Claridge who had just been substituted.

Claridge spends the entire match trying to wind people up, including the crowd, and he had clearly got Arthur agitated. However Arthur has landed himself in hot water with Stan who told Sky viewers last night that his behaviour was unacceptable.

He described Arthur as a young French lad who has to grow up and admitted that he had already apologised to Mark McGhee and the Millwall bench.

It's not the first time Arthur has been in trouble this season, he was sent off in the opening match for a head butt that those fans closest too confirmed. He received a three match ban for that and the wrath of Stan. He is now going to find himself in more trouble with the manager and I suspect his pocket is going to be even lighter.
