Arsenal falter as United retain lead

Last updated : 30 March 2010 By Tony Scholes

Manchester United's comprehensive win, despite Bolton going toe-to-toe with them, coupled with Chelsea hitting Aston Villa for seven has now left Arsenal four points behind the leaders and three behind Chelsea.

Spurs look favourites for the fourth Champions League place although City's win leaves them right on their heels. Liverpool look as though they face too big a task now and Villa are just about out of it.

Our defeat has left us hanging by a thread. We'd had good and bad news with the West Ham and Hull results on the Saturday but couldn't help ourselves. Whilst not doomed it is looking now as though one of West Ham and Hull will survive with the other going down with us and the joke club that is Portsmouth.

The latest stats, along with the leading goalscorers, each club's disciplinary record and the next fixtures, are shown below.
