Clarets Mad boycotted that game over the franchising issue and so cannot comment on his performance.
He has made a steady start to the new season with 17 yellow and 2 red cards in his first 7 games. Those red cards came in successive games and both went to away team players.
His home/away ratio was initially looking ominous but his last seven yellow cards have all gone to home team players and that means that nine home and eight away players have now been cautioned by him.
He has been consistency itself in his time on the league list and his yellow card record is around three per game in each of his first four seasons.
