Here at Clarets Mad he won both the man of the match vote and headed the player ratings after scoring our second half winner to complete our first double over the Yorkshire side in 87 years.
Arfield faced little competition for the man of the match, polling 46.2% of the vote with striker Sam Vokes taking second place with a 12.6% share. Third and fourth places went to defenders with Ben Mee securing third place with 8.4% and 7.7% of the vote giving Michael Duff fourth place.
The player ratings result was similar, but with the other two members of the back four replacing Mee and Duff. Arfield was again the winner with a rating of 7.87 out of 10. Vokes was once more right behind; his rating was 7.69, with Jason Shackell and Kieran Trippier sharing third place, each with a rating of 7.44 out of 10.
The result gives Arfield ten points towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Year. Vokes, leading the way, collected six points; there were two for each of Mee, Shackell and Trippier with Duff securing one point.
That result has stretched the lead to 28 points at the top for Vokes, ahead of Shackell. With Danny Ings ruled out for the next couple of games at least it does look now as though one of the top two will be the player to take the Clarets Mad Player of the Year for 2013/14.
The next vote will be for the Charlton game and will be underway within an hour of the final whistle on Saturday, whilst the result for the Leeds game can be found below along with the current player of the year table.
