Another Premiership club lined up and news of next season

Still at Birmingham Steve Bruce will bring his side to the Turf at the beginning of August
Six days after the Leeds visit we will be taking on Birmingham City at the Turf, this game going ahead on Saturday 2nd August with the kick off this time at 1:00 p.m.

With the Premiership season starting later than the Nationwide League these games will come somewhat early in the preparations for Leeds and Birmingham but it is expected that some of their top names could be involved.

There again Leeds might not have any top names by then if they continue selling players at the rate they have been doing. As it stands though there is a chance that players such as Harry Kewell and Mark Viduka could be playing.

Birmingham have had a superb end to their first ever Premiership season and that followed Steve Bruce’s shopping spree in January that saw the arrival of such players as the influential Christophe Dugarry and Stephen Clemence (husband to be of Tash Parker recently widowed in Dream Team).

These games come after our trip to the Isle of Man and the Birmingham game is just one week before the 2003/04 league season gets underway.
