Driss Diallo - played well
We have picked up just six points this season and they have come in two away wins at Wolves and Oldham and we didn’t break the duck at home tonight.

We had held them until half time but two second half goals from Ivar Ingimarsson were enough for Wolves to take the points.

Midfield trialist Amandou Sanokha impressed but was replaced at half time by Andrew Waine. He had suffered a facial injury just minutes before break. There was also another good performance from Driss Diallo who played the first 60 minutes.

The teams were,

Burnley: James Salisbury, Andy Leeson, Gordon Armstrong, Ian Cox, Driss Diallo (Earl Davis 60), Lee Briscoe (Paul Scott 60), Mark Rasmussen, Amandou Sanokha (Andrew Waine 5), Andy Payton, Anthony Shandran, Matthew O’Neill. Subs not used: Joel Pilkington, Damien Hindle.

Wolves: Michael Oakes, Marc Edworthy, Chris Slater, Keith Andrews, Ludo Pollett (Sammy Clingan 9), Mark Clyde, Kevin Cooper (Kevin O'Connor 45), Michael Branch, Adam Proudlock, Ivar Inigimarsson, Graham Ward. Subs not used: Mark McChrystal, Lewis Solley, Jimmy Lee Jones.
