Another former Clarets leaves his club

John Oster
Oster signed for Palace last August and made his debut for them against us at Selhurst Park in a game that ended 0-0 and Palace with nine men. He's gone on to play a total of 33 games for Palace with all but four of them starts, but Neil Warnock has decided not to offer him a new contract.

It's four years since Oster left Burnley after a short period with the Clarets after signing from Sunderland in January 2005 and making his debut against Bournemouth in the FA Cup. In the summer of that year he signed for Reading and was there until joining Crystal Palace.

Now 30, he'll be looking for his ninth club.
