Andy is tonight's guest

Andy made his Burnley debut in 1960/61, the season following our league championship, and went on to play in well over 250 league and cup games, netting no fewer than 128 goals. He scored 101 of those in the league and was only the sixth, and still the last, player to have reached the century of league goals.

He formed a brilliant strike partnership with Willie Irvine, and the two of them still form a double act today, hosting the executive guests on match days which includes the ground tours.

Twice he scored five goals in a game for the Clarets, but it was only after he left the club that he was able to reach Wembley. He signed for Leicester in October 1968 for £80,000 and by the end of that season played in the FA Cup Final for them, a final they lost against Manchester City. Andy also played for Aston Villa and Oldham, as well as playing in the USA.

He's a player fondly remembered by those from Burnley and Leicester who saw him play, although perhaps not by the defenders he played against.
