Anderson & O'Neill extend their stays

Teenage midfielder Aiden O’Neill and Burnley-born defender Tom Anderson have both signed new extended contracts with the Clarets.

Burnley-born defender Tom Anderson has put pen to paper on a new two-year contract, with a further year’s option in the club’s favour.

The 22 year old Anderson, spent the latter part of the 2015/16 campaign on loan at Sky Bet League One side Chesterfield. Tom appeared on 18 occasions at the heart of the Spireites defence as they successfully battled to avoid relegation. 

Brisbane born Aiden O’Neill has also agreed to pen a new three-year deal, with a further year’s option in the club’s favour.

O’Neill (pictured), now 18 is a regular in the Development Squad and signed his first professional terms in January 2016, following granting of his international clearance.  

The Aussie midfielder signed for the Clarets in 2014 after leaving Brisbane Athletic. Aiden is currently training along with Tom and the first-team squad at their pre-season base in Evian.
