Ian Cox - in the Burnley squad
Earlier this week we reported that Andy Payton was no longer in the Burnley squad with Gary Parkinson now set to play. The news was strangely met with strong objections from the Turf Moor reception, however that news is confirmed and Parkinson does play.

Burnley will be paired with two other teams in one league with the other three teams in a second league. They will play each other and that means two games for each with the league winners meeting at the end of the evening in the North West Final and moving on to the Grand Final at the Echo Arena in Liverpool on 6th September.

Tonight's winners will take the last place in that final with Middlesbrough, Wolves, QPR, Tranmere, Celtic, Leicester and Barnsley. Three ex-Clarets are already in those finals. John McGreal is in the Tranmere squad, Wayne Biggins is playing for Barnsley and the Leicester goalkeeper is our former loan keeper Gavin Ward.

There is also one other former Claret playing tonight, potentially lining up against Burnley. David Eyres features for Oldham.

It all gets underway at 8:00 p.m. at the MEN Arena with all the action live on Sky Sports 2.

Tonight's squads:
