Alexander gets Scotland call

Graham Alexander
This will be the first game for the Argentine's new boss Diego Maradona at the same venue where he scored his first ever goal for his country.

Alexander has very much won his place back in the Scotland squad after being left out for two games over the summer and he'll be hoping to add cap number 37. Six of his current caps have been won since he signed for Burnley and that means he's won more caps for Scotland whilst at Burnley than any other player. The previous best was Jock Aird with four.

The Scotland squad for the Argentina game is: Craig Gordon (RK Sunderland), David Marshall (Norwich), Allan McGregor (Rangers), Graham Alexander (Burnley), Darren Barr (Falkirk), Christophe Berra (Hearts), Kirk Broadfoot (Rangers), Gary Caldwell (Celtic), Alan Hutton (Tottenham), Stephen McManus (Celtic), Jamie McAllister (Bristol City), Gary Naysmith (Sheffield United), Scott Brown (Celtic), Kris Commons (Derby), Barry Ferguson (Rangers), Darren Fletcher (Manchester United), Paul Hartley (Celtic), Shaun Maloney (Celtic), James Morrison (West Brom), Barry Robson (Celtic), David Clarkson (Motherwell), Steven Fletcher (Hibs), Chris Iwelumo (Wolves), Ross McCormack (Cardiff), James McFadden (Birmingham), Kenny Miller (Rangers).
