This at the moment seems to be very much a case of an agent touting his player and Scotland's representative Mike Berry said of his Trinidadian client: "I've heard nothing official but I wouldn't be at all surprised if Roberto came in for Jason because he has had him before. I know that Roberto rates Jason very, very highly and thinks that he can play at the highest level, so it's a case of 'watch this space' really.
"The other interesting one is Owen Coyle at Burnley who I know is very, very interested in Jason having had him before at St Johnstone. Once again, it's a case of watch this space."
Scotland, now 30, has scored over 50 goals at a rate of one every two games since signing for Swansea from St. Johnstone two years ago. The Trinidadian has also scored five times in 24 international appearances for his mob.
