Agent linking us with Scotland

It is probably no surprise that Burnley and Wigan are the two clubs. Swans' boss Roberto Martinez left for Wigan this week and prior to his move to South Wales the striker had played for Coyle at St. Johnstone.

This at the moment seems to be very much a case of an agent touting his player and Scotland's representative Mike Berry said of his Trinidadian client: "I've heard nothing official but I wouldn't be at all surprised if Roberto came in for Jason because he has had him before. I know that Roberto rates Jason very, very highly and thinks that he can play at the highest level, so it's a case of 'watch this space' really.

"The other interesting one is Owen Coyle at Burnley who I know is very, very interested in Jason having had him before at St Johnstone. Once again, it's a case of watch this space."

Scotland, now 30, has scored over 50 goals at a rate of one every two games since signing for Swansea from St. Johnstone two years ago. The Trinidadian has also scored five times in 24 international appearances for his mob.
