If everything runs smoothly then Ade could make his debut in the Dynamo uniform this weekend when they play DC United at the RFK Stadium in Washington DC.

He was introduced to the Texas media yesterday afternoon at the club's headquarters in downtown Houston and the MLS club are now keen for the deal to be completed just as soon as possible.

Dynamo Chief Operating Officer Chris Canetti confirmed that he'd met his new team mates and said: "Our search for a forward has been very public since the off season. "Finally e have settled on a player who we thing will come here and bring great results. We are very happy to have him join us."

He added: "We have been finalising the finer points of his contract. He has signed an MLS contract to play with the Dynamo. Having said that, there are still a few more steps that need to happen before he becomes an official member of the team. Once he finalises his buyout with Burnley we will be able to file officially for the international transfer paperwork."

Ade's new manager is Dominic Kinnear said: "The coach at Burnley Steve Davis spoke very well of him there, and said he has a great attitude both on and off the field. Davis asked me to describe to him the kind of player that we were looking for and he said Ade would be the perfect fit for us.

"Looking at his resume and taking a look at what he has been able to do the last couple of years, he could be a very important part of our team. "You can tell just by looking at him, and his size, the thing that he will be able to bring to us is pace, power and strength."

I don't think there will be a Burnley fan who won't wish Ade the very best in America and ahead of his departure he said: "I was looking for a change. I am a winner, and I know a lot of people will point to my age, but I feel comfortable with it. I know I have a couple more good years in me."
