Ade says we are close

Speaking today he said: "I was delighted to get my goal on Saturday, but it is all about Burnley getting back up there and I would have much preferred to have got a win than to have scored. We came out all guns blazing in the second half and we just need to get a break, even if it's a touch of luck to the get the second goal that didn't come for us against Palace.

"I think we are starting to play well now, and players are starting to gel. With new players coming in it is going to take time, but we just need that break and it will come."

Ade's goal was the first from our new look strike partnership and he said of playing alongside Andy Gray. "I think it is coming along. I'm sure everyone knows that Andy isn't 100% yet, but he is giving it his best. He's a good worker and I've seen him score goals. He gives us 100% and I believe he is starting to do that now, and I think we'll start clicking soon.

"The more games he plays and the more games I play, the more we will get to know each other. The goals will come, I've always believed that. The manager and staff are backing us all the way and it is down to us to go out and get those three points."
