Ade and Gabor to go?

Ade Akinbiyi
The Kiraly part of the story is hardly news. He was placed on the transfer list last May and as August was coming to an end the club said he could go for free. Manager Owen Coyle has already said he won't get a game and he's spent the season so far as an unused substitute to Diego Penny in the reserve games.

Gabor is in the second year of his contract and there's no chance of him getting the option of a third season, so one way or the other he will have left us by the end of the season. The same is likely for Ade Akinbiyi although it is not clear where this speculation has come from.

Only last week Owen Coyle stressed that he was very much part of the plans at Turf Moor, although there were suggestions recently of a move to a League One club. Ade, like Gabor, is in the last year of his contract and it does look unlikely that he'll be offered a new deal given that he's not had any first team action now since he came on in the 2-0 home win against Blackpool.

He missed the trip to Swansea on the following Saturday with a back injury and he's been kept out of the squad since by Jay Rodriguez who made the most of his opportunity when he came on and scored the winning goal against Fulham in the Carling Cup.
