A week for Blake

Should he decide the time is right to leave Burnley for a second time It's unlikely that Robbie will join Preston who would surely struggle to make him any sort of decent offer given their current financial position.

There is no doubt that the majority of Burnley fans would prefer to see Robbie Blake still in a our claret and blue shirt next season and will be waiting for the news that he's signed a new contract to extend his current stay.

Robbie initially signed for the Clarets in January 2002 but moved on three years later. He returned in the summer of 2007 from Leeds and is probably a more popular player than he was first time round.

Now 34, he's been offered a two year deal. It will be fantastic news for Burnley Football Club if Robbie Blake agrees to that deal.
