Gareth Taylor - in action for Wales last night in Cardiff
For Dimitri it was back to the under 21 squad and a home friendly against Norway played in Crete. It ended in a draw and by all accounts he had an excellent game, scoring his team’s equalising goal as well as captaining the side.

Last night Gareth Taylor won a place on the bench for Wales in their game against Bosnia-Herzegovina at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

It ended all square at 2-2  and all the goals had been scored when Gareth got the nod for his 11th cap in total and his 3rd since joining Burnley.

He came on with ten minutes to go, replacing Celtic’s John Hartson, and played out the game up front alongside Newcastle’s Craig Bellamy.

Both players will rejoin the rest of the squad tomorrow once they have all returned from various locations in Europe to prepare for Sunday's FA Cup show down with Fulham.

Congratulations to both Clarets on their latest international recognition from Clarets Mad.
