A further look at the programmes and ephemera is here

That book, published in 2008 proved to be so successful that it prompted the father and son team to start work on a second book, and that second book is now available.

The second book aptly called 'A Further Look at the Programmes and Ephemera of Burnley Football Club' contains features updates from the first book, a chapter on postponed and abandoned games and even those with expunged results, such as those at the start of the 1939/40 season.

There is more on tickets, magazines and annuals portraying Burnley on the front covers and it also includes such as The League Liner, commemorative first day covers and club correspondence.

There is also chapters on pennants, newspaper cuttings and car stickers and it is all beautifully put together in 270 pages.

The book sits perfectly with the original published in 2008 and I am delighted to say that Clarets Mad gets a mention on the very last page with reference to our programme and ticket pages which would be nothing like as comprehensive but for the much appreciated efforts of Lester and Mark.

The father and son team (and son Mark is better known to us on Clarets Mad as spijed) have put together another outstanding book and have generously, once more, offered to donate £5 to the Clarets Mad Youth Foundation for any copy purchased via this web site.

To do that you can order it by post, email or directly with your credit card or via Paypal . The cost of the book is £16.95 with £4.80 for postage, a total of £21.75.

The Paypal link will automatically confirm the order is from Clarets Mad but should you choose another option (post or email) please indicate that it is from this web site.
