Tony Ellis back in the reserves tonight
Should the Clarets fail to win either of their games this week against Barnsley and Preston then we cannot win the championship but win them both and the league is ours. Both games are against teams currently above us with the second against the favourites Preston who currently have five points more than us.

The Clarets team for tonight's game against Barnsley at the Turf is somewhat more experienced than the side that went down 6-1 at Huddersfield last week although the opposition tonight is also more experienced too.

Back in the Clarets line up tonight come Mark McGregor, Graham Branch, Lenny Johnrose, Andy Payton and Tony Ellis as we look to get the three points that will keep us in the title race into the last game against North End on Wednesday.

The Clarets team tonight is: Luigi Cennamo, Andrew Leeson, Graham Branch, Earl Davis, Mark McGregor, Lenny Johnrose, Mark Rasmussen, Andrew Waine, Tony Ellis, Andy Payton, Matthew O'Neill. Subs from: Damian Hindle, James Salisbury, Richard Chaplow, Steven Richardson, Paul Barrett, Sean Blakey.

Barnsley include a striker who once cost £1 million in the transfer market, Isaiah Rankin, and he will line up alongside first team regulars in former Forest defender Steve Chettle, Chris Barker and Antony Kay. Barnsley themselves are still in with a chance of winning the league and need to take four points from their two remaining games and hope that Burnley can beat Preston.

Their team tonight is: Matthew Ghent, Carl Regan, Chris Barker, Kevin Dixon, Antony Kay, Steve Chettle, Jeremy Christie, Alex Neil, Isaiah Rankin, Rory Fallon, Leo Bertos. Subs: Chris Miller, Dean Wordsworth, David Coulson, Chris Cox, Calum Selby.
