Richardson admitted that any strike action by his players would give him a wonderful chance to offload some of his highly paid players. Richardson said, "There is no conflict between my players and this club. But if players who are not part of our first-team squad and are on heavy salaries decide to strike, perhaps it would be a wonderful opportunity to withdraw those people from our staff."
Nice one Richardson, with any luck at all it will have hit team spirit hard at Highfield Road. Is it any wonder there are problems in the game with chairmen like this. You are without doubt a worthy winner of Tw*t of the Week.
He really is out of touch with the game with comments like this, only this week the Clarets Independent Supporters Association at Burnley gave its support to the PFA. Yes the fans are with the players on this one. Check HERE for the PFA acknowledgement of CISA’s support.
Runners up was the unknown Matt Rowson and Pete Fincham who attempt to write for the Watford web site, Blind, Stupid and Desperate. Thanks to the London Clarets for giving us the much more appropriate name of Biased, Sad and Deluded. Rowson did the preview and Fincham the match report for their game at Burnley this week. I won’t even lower myself to quote them or advertise their site. Suffice to say that the football world can quite do without this sort of writing on the net.
Just to think that this web site along with London Clarets and Bob Lord’s Sausage gave them great support at the start of the season for their campaign and petition against the ridiculous kick off times for games on television.

Some way behind on fourth place was Wolves defender Kevin Muscat for the challenge on Dugarry in the Australia v France international. It wasn’t really a surprise to see this sort of challenge from Muscat who must have trained in the Andy Bernal Australian Soccer School.
The rest were also rans and include two columnists on our own club’s web site Arthur Asquith and Phil Bird. Asquith, who is now under the illusion that he has been famous, had his column delayed this week as an apology had to be fitted in after his comments about Peter Crouch whilst Radio Lancs cricket man Bird was peddling Premier League propaganda about the PFA. That was particularly disgraceful, he should get his facts right first especially when he makes ridiculous comments about the Lowry painting.
Others considered were the FA for showing the Nationwide clubs no consideration whatsoever last weekend by scheduling an England game, Peter Crouch for scoring against us and there were still nominations for last week’s winner Neil Warnock.
The winners so far:
Week 1 – Glenn Roeder
Week 2 – Chris Moore
Week 3 – Neil Warnock
Week 4 – Bryan Richardson
So that’s two managers and two chairmen but who will win it next week. Don’t forget to send us your NOMINATIONS before next Thursday evening for our next Tw*t of the Week.
