Long distance Clarets get to see cup tie

Last updated : 18 January 2005 By Tony Scholes

So Exiled Clarets is here and in the near future we will see interviews and news regarding Burnley supporters for whom a journey to Turf Moor is not as easy as it is for some of us.

Before the interviews start though there is some good news for many of them with our cup tie being shown live on television right across the world. So wherever you are, from America to New Zealand there is a chance you will be able to tune in and see tonight’s re-arranged cup tie.

What qualifies you to be an exiled Claret? That is entirely up to you, there are no rules and those of you who are exiled will decide just how far away you need to be. Certainly a couple of supporters on the other side of the Atlantic have already offered to be first in the queue for the interviews.

Until then – whether it is mid-afternoon in New York or some unearthly hour in New Zealand – enjoy watching the Clarets tonight.
