Youngsters make great start in Malta

Yesterday they came up against two local sides in Paola Hibs and Luxol St. Andrews. We won the first game 2-0 and the second one 3-2 when we were somewhat unfortunate not to win by a bigger margin.
They have followed that up with two more wins today, and what comprehensive wins, beating St. Patricks 7-0 and Hamrun Spartans 5-0.
These young lads are representing our club superbly both on and off the field and have received considerable support from a number of the parents who have been able to go out and watch as well as Clarets Mad regular Joe Vella to whom I'm very grateful for the news and the photographs.
