Both of them spoke to the fans there with Vince outlining some of the targets that we could aim for with the fundraising. The first, and main one, is a smart board system that would be of great use in educating the young players, with Vince describing it as similar to the system used by Andy Gray on sky television.

It is a equipment Vince is very enthusiastic about and Steve Cotterill added that it would be a terrific help to Vince and Pash (Terry Pashley) in terms of coaching the youngsters and improving their game. We will have more details of this soon, so keep checking the site.

The whole evening was about youth development, and both Steve and Vince chatted with individuals with both stressing the importance of a good youth scheme at the club.

We also presented one of our 500 Mile shirts to the Bridge and the picture above shows Emma receiving it on behalf of the Bridge from Steve Cotterill, watched by members of the Year of the Youth team and Vince.

The third shirt is set to go to one of the supporters who contributed towards them and a draw was held last night – the lucky winner is Mark Murgatroyd, better known to us on the message board as murger.
