West Yorkshire Clarets off on their annual walk

A recent view of the Yorkshire countryside

It all gets underway once the train from Leeds arrives at Steeton & Silsden Railway Station on Sunday morning from at 10:36.

The walk will take them across fields and alongside both river and canal as they head for Skipton via Kildwick and Bradley, with an optional last leg, and I'd be on my last legs by then, to Cononley.

Of course, as expected, refreshment stops are on the agenda, so there will be plenty of opportunity to stock up on food and drink during the walk.

You can turn up on the day, with family and friends, but if you do intend joining the walk it would be beneficial to EMAIL the West Yorkshire Clarets in advance if possible so they know to expect you.
