Wear your claret and blue with pride at Ewood

The representatives of Burnley Supporters' Clubs have held meetings with both the club and the police regarding the plans for Sunday's game against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park. We have strongly opposed those plans but, other than the running of supporters' club coaches alongside the convoy, have been unable to bring about any changes meaning all Burnley supporters, no matter how inconvenienced, must travel by coach from Turf Moor.

We are now working alongside the Football Supporters Federation and this work will continue beyond Sunday's game with the view to having these draconian measures removed for any subsequent games against our local rivals.

We do though want to hear from Burnley fans and their experiences on the day so if you are travelling to Ewood Park on Sunday and have any issues could you please EMAIL them to the Supporters' Clubs at blackburnissues at ntlworld dot com.

All the supporters' clubs ask now is that we all go, behave, and get behind the team. Wear you colours with pride and turn the Darwen End into a sea of claret & blue. Get behind the team and show the Blackburn fans, the police and the watching football world just how to support a team.
