The Clarets Mad Christmas Wish List

Last updated : 01 December 2005 By Richard Oldroyd

In the main, we can agree that the Clarets are better run than many clubs. But we all criticise the club from time to time. There are things we’d all change, given the chance – some small, some major.

Over Christmas, Clarets Mad wants to run a series of articles examining what genuine supporters – you, me, the bloke next door – would like to see change, both at the Turf and in football in general. In order for this to happen, we need to hear from you.

You can get involved by clicking on the relevant thread on our messageboard, or alternatively you can EMAIL the site, marking your email as ‘Clarets Mad Survey’.

Perhaps you’re one of the many people who want to see the surcharge dropped, or want a singing section at Turf Moor. Or perhaps you’d like to see a change in ticket pricing policy, or have a ploy to get more people through the turnstiles which you’d like to see tried. The issue can be anything: life bans, the pies and pints, the prices or the PR – or whatever else get on your nerves at the moment.

In the wider debate, we want to know your opinions on agents, transfer windows, televised football, or whatever else riles you. Is there too much European football? Are there too many games? Whatever you think – let us know.

We want to find out what supporters in general really want. Burnley is, after all, ultimately our club, and the game is our game. We want to find out what the people who matter really think.
