It's another one of the rearranged fixtures and this game at Rotherham is the one that should have been played on Boxing Day but was called off not much more than an hour before kick off.

Burnley were top when the game should have originally been played whilst Rotherham were 18th. The Clarets are four places lower now and Rotherham have slipped one place to 19th. Neither side has had the best of runs with Burnley having picked up only one league win, last Wednesday at Watford, and Rotherham won their first game since mid December at home to Stockport just last Saturday.

They haven't been beaten though at home in the league and recorded successive 1-1 draws against Barnsley, Watford and Grimsby before beating Stockport 3-2. Away from home they have suffered 2-0 defeats at Crystal Palace and Coventry and went down 2-1 at Wolves after leading 1-0 through ex-Claret Alan Lee.

Their cup run came to an end with a comprehensive home defeat against Crewe but not before they had seen off Premiership Southampton in the 3rd round with John Mullin getting the second and crucial goal in the 2-1 result.
