In fact they will be only the third Premiership side to play an FA Cup tie on the Turf and the since the 0-0 draw with Liverpool eight years ago. Sheffield United were the other for the 1993 replay.

Since the first game down at Loftus Road a week last Sunday the Clarets have played just the one game, our 2-0 home win against Derby whilst Fulham have gone a long way towards securing their Premiership future with four points from two games.

The first of these was a 3-0 home win against West Brom last Wednesday but it was a match that looked all set to end 0-0 before three Fulham goals in five minutes turned the game on its head.

Yesterday they went to Spurs and earned a point in a tough game and they had to play 51 minutes with ten men after goalkeeper Maik Taylor was sent off. They had led with a Ledley King own goal but the resulting penalty saw Spurs level and that’s how the game finished.

Fulham, who apparently are now up for the Cup and making it a higher priority than their Premiership games, lined up: Maik Taylor, Steve Finnan, Abdeslam Ouaddou, Pierre Wome, Martin Djetou (Zat Knight), Sean Davis, Steed Malbranque, Luis Boa Morte, Sylvain Legwiniski, Steve Marlet (Luis Saha 19), Facundo Sava (Herrera 39). Subs not used: Junichi Inamoto, Jon Harley.
