Steven Caldwell - set to lead the Clarets out in America
Having played two games against Bradford City and Morecambe in the space of three days we've now gone a week without a game. We travelled to California last Thursday to our training camp at Ventura and are now ready for that first game.

There could be up to three new faces in the Burnley line up. Brian Easton signed just ahead of the Morecambe game but didn't feature, whilst Richard Eckersley became a Claret the day after.

Both could feature as could Fernando Guerrero (full name Fernando Alexander Guerrero Vásquez) the 19-year-old Ecuadorian winger who is currently playing his football for Independiente José Terán in SerieB in Ecuador.

Speculation last week said the former Real Madrid Castillas youngster was on Owen Coyle's radar and it is believed he has impressed since linking up with the club at the American training camp with a view to becoming a Burnley player should he impress.

There's also an American born trialist with us by the name of Tony Odorisio. He has recently had a trial with a club in Finland and is a 24-year-old central defender.

We're almost certain to make extensive use of the squad again tonight as we continue the build up to our first ever Premier League season.

For the nighthawks there is live audio commentary of the game, and that commentary will be archived immediately after the game for listening at a more sensible UK time.

The game is being played at the Buena High School Bulldogs' Stadium and kicks off at 7:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) which is 3:00 a.m. tomorrow in the UK.
