We'll field what we feel is the strongest team

The Burton boss, aka Mr Karren Brady, knows his side won't be favourites. "The bookies won't be giving us a chance, but cup football is never that predictable," he said as he looks towards a first win of the season after they, like us, drew their opening game 2-2 (At Torquay).

He added: "The result at Torquay was disappointing in the sense that we let slip a two goal lead, but it was a decent performance. We created loads of chances and I thought the front two (Justin Roberts and Calvin Zola) cause a lot of problems for the Torquay defence.

"That's what we'll be looking to do against Burnley and see where it takes us. They're a Championship side, so the pressure will be on them, while we'll be going there to enjoy the occasion and see whether we can make a name for ourselves."

He sees Burnley as a different proposition to the Burnley team that beat them in the FA Cup in January. "There are lots of ifs and buts about any side this early in the season," he said. "Burnley have gone through quite a big change during the summer and may not yet have the fluency Eddie Howe will be looking for.

"He might also opt for a bit of experimentation, so we'll be looking to exploit any situation that might work in our favour."

With Martin Paterson out, Howe has failed in attempts to recall either or both of Keith Treacy and Alex MacDonald from international duty but will still go into the game with a strong side. He also recalled the FA Cup tie against Burton which was his first home game in charge at Turf Moor.

"Burton started that game well and it was a good game. I thought they were a good side that day," Howe said.

"We won't underestimate them. They've got good energy and a couple of good strikers, so we need to make sure we're at our best and if we are I'm sure we'll have enough.

Howe is without Martin Paterson and said: "We have two quality strikers in Jay Rodriguez and Charlie Austin and hopefully if we start with them up front we'll do alright.

"We'll field what we feel is the strongest team. We may include a couple of changes but we'll have to have a look at it and assess it nearer the time. We do have a good squad but I want to win the game. Any team we set out will be there to win the game."
