We are in good form at the moment

Pearson took his team to his old club Hull on Saturday, a game they drew 0-0 and wants to better that result at Burnley where they won last season.

They are currently fifth in the table and Pearson said today: "We need to win the game, we are not winning enough games at the moment but with the players that we do have I know that we'll turn that around so it doesn't concern me too much although I would not like to have slipped any further behind."

Neither is he too concerned at them not having scored in their last three games, adding. "I'd prefer us to be scoring but we remain with a very good healthy goal difference which means we've scored plenty of goals so far and we have a good defensive record but clearly I'd like to be scoring goals because you've got a better chance of winning obviously.

Asked what problems Burnley would cause them, he just confirmed he would use his squad given the rush of games, saying: "We've got competition for places and there will be players who will be fresh which is good. We'll see how the players are, we'll dust them down and go from there."

Dyche, delighted to get that home win against Derby is hoping for more of the same. "It's a tough ask," he admitted. "Leicester are big spenders with a big squad, good players and a good manager, but they have to come up here and try and beat us and we are in good form at the moment.

"They are coming to our place, and I think we are showing signs that that's not so easy nowadays, so we will be looking forward to it.

"When I got here people were saying of this idea was of making this place a fortress. Of course every club wants to do that and the way the players are going about it it's quite obvious they want to do that."

The win against Derby meant just one defeat in seven games that have yielded ten points. Dyche added: "We are a little bit aggrieved we haven't got more wins in that run, but there are good signs and it makes for a good game with Leicester coming up and us going well.

"They have had a couple of tough games. They lost against Cardiff and got a point at Hull so we will be looking forward to taking them on."
