We are in a positive mood

Both clubs have hit a disappointing run in terms of results and both managers will be looking to get their teams moving forward again in tonight's fixture which comes just twelve days short of a year since last season's corresponding fixture.

Zola, who carries the title of head coach, said ahead of the game: "It is a tough time, that's for sure. In these moments you have to work hard, keep your head down and have a lot of humility.

"It is a moment in which we are not playing our best, we're not getting any luck on our side. I don't complain though because you have to make your own luck, we need to work harder than before and wait for a break.

"In order to get it back you have to show humility and there's one recipe, and that is hard work."

He continued: "I always think about things, whether they're going well or not. Therefore, yes, I always ask myself if I'm doing everything I can for this team, or what else can I do to improve the situation.

"Of course there's not much time in between games at the moment. We have tried to do a few bits and that will help. Every team and manager has a time during the season when you're tested. In those moments you need to find consistency and your strength and determination.

"This is a healthy group and they'll react. Although the game is tough, they will deal with the situation. I'm sure they'll be ready.

"I always try and do things logically. Sometimes I could have done something differently. I have always thought things I've been doing have been good for the club."

Dyche was asked about our current run which has seen us fail to win any of the last four league games since we beat QPR at home at the end of October.

"To be honest it's an interesting one with runs," he said. "We are coming off the back of a good one and if you look at the other teams at the top, QPR have two wins in seven, Reading two wins in eight and Nottingham Forest one win in six.

"It's still hard for the clubs with strong squads and big resources all having their challenges. That's because it's a very difficult league and that's why we have been pleased with how we are going and we are thirsty for more wins and better performances to move forward.

"We have just had three tough away games, which is a tough ask at any level of football, certainly the Championship. So we are looking forward to being back at Turf Moor because we've enjoyed it here this season and I'm sure the fans have too.

"We are in a positive mood and we're here, having only lost two games, so there's a lot of good signs and people have to remember that. But one step at a time and that starts tonight against Watford."
