We are full of confidence at the moment

John Rudkin and Mike Stowell will remain in charge of Leicester as they continue their search for Eriksson's replacement, but midfielder Andy King, who scored twice on Saturday in the defeat at West Ham, has spoken ahead of the game.

He said: "We've lost two on the spin now, but we've got to put that behind us, take the best bits out of Saturday's second-half performance and move on to another tough game at Burnley. Hopefully we'll be able to fare a little better up there.

"I've always said that if the team wins and I don't score, then that's better than us drawing or losing and me scoring. It was nice to get a couple of goals on Saturday, but I'd much rather the team won games and we've got to be looking to do that on Tuesday.

"I thought we showed a lot of passion in the second half on Saturday. Perhaps the first half wasn't good enough from us, but we've got to take the positives from the second half into the Burnley game."

He added: "It's obviously tough being without a manager, but hopefully the spell won't last for too long and I say that with no disrespect to Jon, Beags (Steve Beaglehole) or Stowelly. "I've worked with them all before and they're good people, I thought they proved that on Saturday with the way they lifted the team for the second half."

Tindall, having seen the Clarets beat Blackpool on Saturday, is now looking to make it two in two at home against Leicester, and said :"To get back-to back victories and get six points out of six gives everybody a big lift, not just the players, but the fans and everyone connected with the club.

"The important thing now is that we take Saturday's performance into Tuesday against a very tough Leicester side and try and make it three wins out of three. Leicester were one of the favourites to win the division with all the resources made available to them and the money they have spent.

"They will be a tough side for anybody to play against but you would rather go into the back of a game like this on the back of two positive performances.

"We are full of confidence at the moment. We have a young group of players which has a terrific team spirit here now and they will be looking to go out there and give it all, like they always do, and hopefully with that we'll get a good performance and a positive result."

On the changeover at Leicester, he added: "Sven is a great manager with a very good track record. I think he has brought some terrific players into Leicester. It's a shame that he's gone because he is a former England manager and it was good for the Championship to have him there.

"But there are a lot of good managers in the Championship. Our last experience against Sven wasn't very good, so hopefully Tuesday can be a lot better than last time. All we can do is concentrate on what we are doing here and whatever happens and what other teams decide to do with their team or their manager is obviously nothing to do with us.

"If we can do our job well and play to the expectations we know we can it will be a very tough game for Leicester, as it will be for us. We are on the back of two goods results and we will be looking to make that three."
