This is a setback time

Bradford manager Nicky Law fielded a team filled with kids and must have been delighted to go home with the points. They have so many players out injured right now it makes our treatment room look quite.

Law said after the game, "People said we were safe beforehand but I feel a lot more comfortable now, this was an excellent win.

"Burnley came at us but we were far more superior in the first half and handled things well in the second half. It was a credit to the whole team especially the young lads who came in and did ever so well against a very experienced Burnley side.

"They brought Robbie Blake on for the second half and I was just glad he wasn’t on from the start. We defended well as a team. There were some excellent individual performances but collectively we were brilliant.

"It all points to a bright future if they can continue making such progress".

Stan finally admitted that any chase for the play offs was just about over as we collected only our second point in six games.

"The play offs are highly unlikely now, but I don’t think we ought to lose sight of what we have done.

"I have not brought a player in all season and, apart from Marlon Beresford and Driss Diallo who are on loan contracts, I have gone with what we were left with after the collapse of ITV Digital.

"The cup runs have helped us big style financially. The players have done extremely well and we have to remember how far the club has come in the last few years.

"But you often get setbacks and this is a setback time and you have to react positively to it".
