There were an awful lot of positives to take from the game

Coyle used all his available players again and was delighted to get a win in front of a big Burnley following at the Fraser Eagle. "I thought the atmosphere was terrific, and the lads did well," he said after the game.

"There were an awful lot of positives to take from the game and that was pleasing. With all due respect to the pitch, I think with a better surface we can be better with our passing, but they were three goals of quality we scored.

"The two free kicks were exquisite and Besart's goal will do his confidence no harm at all. I'm pleased for him, the crowd were great with him and he has rewarded them with a great goal.

"He's been out for a year and there is no getting away from the fact that he is finding it difficult to come back in. Today he scored a wonder goal and hopefully he can take that on and we can help him get back to the level he was at before."

Coyle also commented on the injuries. "The three lads who were not playing, Chris McCann, Ade Akinbiyi and Kevin McDonald were all precautionary. We don't want to take any chances with any aches and pains and you get them.

"Wade Elliott tweaked his ankle in the first half and young Alex MacDonald was terrific when he came on for ten minutes, but then picked up a thigh knock. We don't take any chances with everybody, but it was great that everyone who was available got a run out."
