"We haven't had much time to savour Saturday's win because we were in training today [Sunday] and then straight on the bus down to Reading, but the pleasing thing is we are going into the game with confidence.
"We got our away win at Barnsley, so we have got that monkey off our back. The important thing now is to get back-to-back results and get on a consistent run. We have not done that at any stage this season, but the belief is in the players and we have good players.
"First and foremost, if you put the effort and 100 per cent commitment in, you will win games and get on a run."
Gray confirmed that he rested some players at weekend and added: "It was just a case of shaking it up and freshening things up against Sheffield United and there will probably be changes again at Reading."
