"We have really been the architects of our own downfall in many ways in the away games with some poor individual mistakes resulting in us losing goals. But when we are focused, with our concentration levels at their maximum, and we pass and move the ball as well as anybody we can create chances.
"We have had chances in every one of those away games and when they present themselves we have to take our share of them and that will give us the base and the platform to go and win a game.
"We know that as much as we have lost games, we have played well in periods and we have to bring that for a sustained effort for ninety minutes, or whatever time the game lasts, and to do that for the whole duration of the match.
"The players are all champing at the bit to get out there and earn some points to add to the fifteen we already have. That's our focus and drive and that's what we want to be doing going into this international break.
"We know it will be difficult, we are under no illusions about that, but I really believe it's a game we can win points from and that will be the message to the players - go out there and perform to your maximum and when we come off make sure we have no regrets.
"It's a great game to look forward to. It shows, as we know, we are in with the big boys and at this moment in time they don't come any bigger than Manchester City in terms of wealth and the team they are putting together.
"They have some world class players but we believe in the group we have got at our football club. We don't have those riches but what we do have is spirit, quality and an unbelievable backing with our group of fans.
"What we have to do now is replicate our performance when we've been at the top of our game and if we do that we can achieve points from this match.
