It is important we focus on the Championship

Kevin Blackwell has signed an extension to his contract this week that will see him remain as Sheffield United boss until the end of the 2010/11 season, and like the Clarets he has his side in the play off positions.

Blackwell said ahead of our visit to Bramall Lane: "Burnley are a point above us and it is fourth v fifth so it will be an interesting clash. I just hope it will be a similar game but a different result from our last home fixture against Wolves when we were outstanding for long periods and didn't get breaks.

Blackwell was busy watching his own club's young team against Spurs on Tuesday evening and said of the Clarets: "I didn't see Burnley's game against Arsenal but I went to watch them at Barnsley a couple of weeks ago and they were unlucky. They are on fire at the moment, they are full of confidence. Beating Derby and Arsenal in the last week is no mean achievement."

Owen Coyle knows it is back to business tomorrow after the excitement of Tuesday. "We enjoyed the other night and it was marvellous what we achieved, but my focus is now on Saturday and a big game at Sheffield United," he said.

"It is important we focus on the Championship, similar to the Chelsea game we had a massive game at QPR and now we go to Sheffield United, which for me is one of the toughest fixtures in the league.

"Every game in the Championship is massive, but with the fact it is a huge stadium against a club who were in the Premiership not too long ago, we are under no illusions as to how difficult it will be.

"James Beattie himself is a top class player and they have a host of these, but we know we have a good team and we have to go there on Saturday and show that. Sheffield United are a point behind us and we don't want them leapfrogging us, but to do that we will need to be at our best.

"We want to make sure we are working hard, getting to the standards we have set previously and if we do, that will serve us well.

"I'm always positive in my outlook and I believe as a group we can grow and get better but nobody hands you anything in this Championship. You have to earn the right and go through a multitude of tasks within a game, some which go unnoticed, but I always believe that hard work pays of in the end."
