It is a solid start but there is still room for improvement

Oakley, speaking ahead of the game, said: "We will attack. That is the way Paulo [Sousa] is going to be all season, wanting us to attack and score goals. We will try it at Burnley, which is a tough place to go, especially as they have just come down.

"They have a bit of money and have strengthened their squad, but we are playing well and there is no reason why we can't get the three points."

"We played well at Palace, but just conceded poorly, then we finished strongly. And then Middlesbrough, how that was a nil-nil I will never know. If we had scored one we would have gone on to win well. "

Oakley said they were adapting well to Sousa's style of play, adding: "We just need to tidy up on the mistakes we made in the Palace game. We kept a clean sheet in the 'Boro game so that is a positive, so we need to convert our chances.

Burnley boss Brian Laws has seen his side pick up four points from the first two games and is looking to add to that tomorrow. "We have been very solid as a team, which is something we wanted, and everything follows on from there," he said.

"It is a solid start but there is still room for improvement. We know that we are not quite there yet, but if we are picking up points when we aren't, I don't think, at our 100 per cent best, we know we have more to offer.

"We know that if we have more to offer we have a better chance of winning games and each game that goes by we are growing in confidence."

Looking forward to the game he said: "Leicester had a fantastic season last year on the back of promotion back to the Championship and are another team which is buoyed with confidence.

"Paulo likes to play good football as we saw at Swansea last year. He's now trying to influence Leicester to play in that kind of manner and I have seen glimpses of it already. It's going to be a massive test for us but we know, on our day, we feel very confident.

"The bulk of our points are likely to come at home and we need to stamp our authority, particularly at home, because that is the foundation for anybody's success.

"This game will give us a stern test but we want to keep our home form intact and give our home fans something to shout about. We want every team to think this is a place you're not going to get many points from.

"Hopefully, as each game goes by, we will gain even more confidence, but it won't be easy."
