It has all the makings of a great football match

Speaking on behalf of the home side, coach Bryan Klug admitted to expecting a tough game against the Clarets. "They are a very good side," he said. "They have plenty of attacking options and have proved they can go to places, score goals and win games.

"They went to Wolves a few weeks back and ripped them apart and I think Saturday's game will be the toughest we have faced at home all season. Burnley are only a few points behind us in the table and will feel they can finish in the top six and I see them as genuine challengers. I think they are one of the best teams in the Championship.

Manager Jim Magilton is also impressed with the way we've been playing. He said: "They've won their last four away games so that speaks volumes about them. He's got them playing and Owen must be delighted with his start. To go to Watford, to go to Charlton and to go to Wolves and pick up maximum points is a credit to him and a credit to his players."

Magilton also believes this could be his side's toughest home game and added: "No disrespect to any of the sides that have come this season, but this one raises the bar for us because they have got a lot of very good players and a lot of dangerous players and we've got to play better to beat them.

"We will need to show more quality than in recent games and be just a bit braver with the ball. But we're playing at home with bags of confidence where we expect to win every game so it is all set up to be a terrific game."

Owen Coyle has similar views ahead of the game. "In terms of away fixtures they don't come any tougher," he said. "I think they have the best home record anywhere and that tells you the size of the task. But we have been to Watford, Charlton and Wolves and won and this is another game we will not fear.

"Nothing changes and we will look to do that again on Saturday. We will go there really positive and look to be the first team to go to Ipswich and win this season. They may look invincible at home, but I think these are the games you want.

"We have nothing but the utmost respect, but I want my players to go there and show Ipswich that we can play a bit too. There can be no bigger incentive that wanting to go there and be the first team this season to win.

"It has all the makings of a great football match. Ipswich will be big favourites and rightly so with their track record, but we have shown before that we can create what people term as a shock. I have to say it won't be a shock to me, so we will go there positive and see what we can achieve."
