"We tried to get most of them involved in that and there were some pleasing aspects, but also some we need to work on and that's why we are here for pre-season.
"The results are never important and we certainly didn't deserve to lose the game. We shot ourselves in the foot but you are better these things happening in pre-season than during the season.
"There is no doubt we will improve from that, I was just pleased to get another game under our belt and we go from there."
