At our best we have a chance of winning

There has been speculation that Swansea boss Roberto Martinez might switch from his usual 4-5-1 system to a more traditional 4-4-2 but the former Wigan player has ruled that out. "Not once have I started with two up front," he said. "There are not many teams in modern football that play 4-4-2 who are successful on a weekly basis.

"No player has a label at Swansea City, Every one of them has many jobs because of the way we play and anyone who follows us knows we adapt things and change things around. Sometimes it could work for ninety minutes in a match, but it all depends on where we play, who we are playing and the form of the players involved.

"In my mind we have 22 players who can start a game and I'm very happy with the options we've got. We have got goals in our side and we have got the quality to break any side down."

Martinez has admitted playing the Clarets will not be an easy task and added: "They have turned the corner and are looking very strong. It's another big test and a big battle for us."

And Martinez is not the only manager to expect the game to be a big test. "I think it is dangerous to play anyone in this league," Coyle admitted. "There's no doubt about it, for me it is the toughest league in Europe in terms of everyone being capable of beating each other.

"Whenever you play someone it is going to b a difficult game and we that it will be at Swansea. We played ever so well against Blackpool on the back of a good performance at Forest, but it counts for nothing unless we go and make it count on Saturday when we have a difficult game against a quality, passing team in a fantastic stadium.

"They have momentum and they have started the season ever so well with a couple of valuable wins early on. It's up to us to go here and try to get our game going by moving and passing the ball about as we have done in the past few games. We know if we are at our best we have a chance of winning, but we have to be at our maximum."
