James Taylor - returns via the bench

We haven't previously reported this but were only informed yesterday afternoon and are thankful to one alert Burnley supporter and Tranmere Rovers Football Club for alerting us to it.

The game gives Terry Pashley and opportunity to change things round a bit and that means substitute roles for such as Shay McCartan, Mehdi Lazaar and Joe Jackson.

It also sees a potential return to action for James Taylor. He's named as one of the substitutes having been ruled out all season to date with injury. And whilst he takes his place on the bench, Adam Evans continues his return to action with a first start since recovering from injury.

The Burnley team is: Josh Cook, Curtis Woods, Ed Williams, Alex Coleman, Tom Anderson, Dave Lynch, Steven Hewitt, Alex Mullin, Ross Wilson, Joe McKee, Adam Evans. Subs: Joe Jackson, Mehdi Lazaar, James Taylor, Shay McCartan, Dean Overson.
