Youth team face Oldham tomorrow

Jack Errington will partner Tom Anderson in defence

Oldham beat us 2-0 on 24th September at their Chapel Road training ground but since the young Clarets have gone on to win five successive games, four of them in the league, to move up to third place and behind the top two only on goal difference.

Oldham are the only team this season to prevent us from scoring and just last week they held Preston to a 0-0 draw. They will provide tough opposition.

Burnley have opted to rest both Steven Hewitt and Shay McCartan. Both travelled with the first team to Cardiff and both then played in the Lancs tie at Accrington and will now be on the subs bench tomorrow.

Also on the bench is central defender Alex Coleman, he sits this one out with Jack Errington coming in to partner Tom Anderson.

Cameron Howieson is out of the reckoning after suffering an ankle injury at Accrington and being forced off during the second half.

The Burnley team is: Josh Cook, Aryn Williams, Jack Errington, Tom Anderson, Luke Conlan, Adam Evans, Jordan Scott, Archie Love, Alex Mullin, Lewis Nuttall, Jason Gilchrist. Subs: Callum Jakovlevs, Alex Coleman, Charlie Holt, Steven Hewitt, Shay McCartan.

Kick off tomorrow is 11:00 a.m.
