When the Clarets beat Oldham in the Lancashire Senior Cup on 29th January it took us to the semi-finals of the competition where we've been granted a home game against either Bury or Blackburn who are still to play their quarter-final time.
At this time there is no confirmed date for the game between Bury and Blackburn.
Meanwhile we still await news of a re-arranged date for our Under-21 Premier League Cup quarter-final at Exeter. I was given a date of 4th March but this is still to be confirmed.
The winners of that game should know their semi-final opponents this week when Newcastle and Man City meet in their quarter-final. The game is being played this Friday afternoon at Newcastle's Training Centre at Darsley Park.
