Tough game facing youth team

Bury are a club who are making serious investment at youth level and part of that investment has seen them take over the former Man City training ground at Carrington. It's a venue familiar to our lads who trained and played there for a few weeks recently as the work at Gawthorpe continues.

Our opponents are currently second in the Youth Alliance League, just a point behind Rochdale with both clubs still having four games to play, and they will be looking to do the double over us after winning 2-0 against us back in November in what was one of our rare appearances this season at our own training ground.

Things have turned around somewhat since last season. Almost a year ago to the day we played our last away game of last season against Bury but on this occasion we were easy winners. Ntumba Massanka got a hat trick with further goals from Josh Dolling (pictured) and Jamal Crawford giving us a 5-0 win, all three of those players are in today's side.

Kick off today is 11 a.m. and the Burnley team is Connor King, Vashiko Dixon, Shaun Hobson, Lewis Norvock, Waqas Azam, Jamal Crawford, Andreas Bianga, Brandon Wilson, Brad Jackson, Ntumba Massanka, Josh Dolling. Subs: Marcel Wusiewicz, Mark Howarth, Christian Hill, Khius Metz.
